Shazi Jiang, M.D., focuses on patent prosecution and opinion work for clients, and her experience covers a wide range of technologies in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and engineering.

Her experiences include drafting and prosecuting applications, preparing freedom-to-operate, invalidity, patentability, and infringement opinions. She has also represented third party requestors in reexamination proceedings in the field of aluminum products before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Shazi graduated in 2010 from Vanderbilt University Law School. Shazi also received a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Vanderbilt University and an M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

In her spare time, Shazi likes to read mystery novels (Agatha Christie is a favorite) and play tennis.
